Testing Forms and Summaries

Once you've built a summary template, you can test how it looks with sample form responses without needing a real patient submission.

How to Test

1. Go to Clinic Settings, click Templates, then open the form you want to test
2. Click the Summary tab
3. Select the summary template you want to test
4. Click Test Mode

Filling in Test Data

You have two options for populating the form with test data:

Manual testing:

• Fill out the form preview with sample patient data
• See how your summary renders with that data

AI auto-fill:

• Click Auto-fill with AI
• Optionally describe a patient scenario (e.g., "65-year-old patient with diabetes and hypertension") to generate realistic test data
• The AI generates fictional but realistic patient responses to test against

Generating AI Summary Sections

1. Click the Generate AI blocks button to run your AI prompts against the test data
2. Review the AI-generated summary sections
3. Compare different prompts or templates to see which produces the most useful output

Tip: Iterative testing is the best way to refine your templates. Try different AI prompt wording, adjust which variables you include, and test with different patient scenarios to find what works best for your practice.
